Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Assistant
DETAILED PROCEDURE
This procedure explains how to use the artificial intelligence (AI) search assistant in Prodon Web to make it easier to search for information in:
- client management
- transaction management
The assistant allows users to perform searches using natural language, without needing to master complex filters or criteria.
How the AI Works
The search assistant operates according to the following principles:
- the user writes a request in natural language (e.g., a simple sentence);
- the AI interprets the request;
- the AI performs a search within the fields recognized by the system (e.g., first name, date, campaign, occasion).
Example of a recognized field:
- First name (e.g., “Steve”)
Assistant Limitations (Current Version)
The search assistant:
- handles simple and direct queries;
- does not handle complex queries (AND, OR, unstructured concepts).
Functional example
“All my golf transactions”
The AI recognizes the concept of a campaign or occasion.
Non-functional example
“All individuals in a relationship”
The AI does not recognize the concept of a relationship.
Accessing the Search Assistant (Clients)
From the main menu, click the “Clients” tab.
Select the “Search Assistant” option.
Note: For the purposes of this procedure, the examples are based on client management.
Entering a Search Query
In the designated field, describe the search criteria using natural language.
Use a simple and precise sentence.
Example:
“All Steves”
Click the “Submit” button.
Wait for the AI to process the request.
Expected result:
- the assistant displays all client records containing “Steve” in the client name.
Evaluating Result Relevance (Clients)
After the results are displayed:
- use the thumbs up / thumbs down system;
- this system allows you to evaluate the relevance of the results obtained.
Explaining a Non-Relevant Result
When selecting thumbs down, a window opens automatically.
Briefly describe what did not work in the search.
This feedback is essential to improve the AI search assistant.
Using the Search Assistant (Transactions)
In Prodon Web, click the “Transactions” tab.
Select “Search Assistant.”
Describe the search criteria using natural language.
Click “Submit.”
Example:
“All transactions from March 26, 2026”
Expected result:
- display of all transactions corresponding to the specified date.
Evaluating Results (Transactions)
Use the thumbs up / thumbs down system, as with client searches.
Provide feedback if the results are not accurate.
Best Practices
- Use simple and clear sentences.
- Avoid multiple conditions (AND, OR).
- Try different wording if the results are not satisfactory.
- Always provide feedback when results are imprecise.
Expected Outcome
After using the assistant:
- relevant data is displayed quickly;
- the user saves time when searching;
- the assistant improves thanks to the feedback provided.
