FAQ - User Management
1. What is User Management used for?
User Management allows you to view and manage the users who have access to the database.
2. How do I add a new user?
In the Users module, click Add, complete the required information, and then click Add again to save the user.
3. What information is required when creating a user?
The user's full name and email address are required fields.
4. What is the Accessible Organization field used for?
In a multi-organization environment, this field determines which organization the user can access.
5. How do I deactivate a user's account?
Open the user's profile, click Disabled, and then save the changes.
6. How do I force a password reset?
In the user's profile, click Force password expiration.
A password reset email will be sent automatically.
7. How long is the password reset link valid?
The password reset link expires after one hour.
8. Can the user list be filtered?
Yes.
You can use views, groups, users, or existing filters to refine your search.
9. What is SUPERVISOR Mode?
SUPERVISOR Mode provides access to all available permissions when the user's elevation level allows it.
10. How do I enable or disable SUPERVISOR Mode?
To enable SUPERVISOR Mode, click your user profile and select Switch to SUPERVISOR Mode.
To return to standard mode, click your user profile and select Exit SUPERVISOR Mode.
