1. What is multi-factor authentication (2FA)?

Multi-factor authentication is a security method that requires two elements to confirm your identity:

  • Your credentials (username and password)

  • A temporary code sent by email or generated by an authentication app


2. Why should I reset my multi-factor authentication?

You may need to reset your multi-factor authentication if:

  • You’ve changed phones
  • You no longer have access to your authentication app
  • You want to change your authentication method for convenience or security

3. How do I access the reset option?

Once logged into Prodon Web:

  • Click on the silhouette icon at the top right of the screen
  • Select “Reset multi-factor authentication” from the dropdown menu

4. What happens after I reset multi-factor authentication?

A confirmation message will appear.
During your next login, you will need to:
  • Choose a new authentication method (app or email)
  • Enter your credentials
  • Use the selected method to validate your login

5. What authentication methods are available?

You can choose between:
  • An authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator)
  • A code sent by email

6. What should I do if I don’t receive the code by email?

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure the email address associated with your account is correct
  • If the issue persists, contact customer service

7. Can I change my authentication method later?
