Change multi-factor authentication

DETAILED PROCEDURE

Here is a detailed procedure to change multi-factor authentication.

Access the user menu

Once logged into Prodon Web, locate the silhouette icon in the top right corner of the screen.
This icon represents your user profile.
Click on it to open the dropdown menu containing options related to your account.

Reset multi-factor authentication

In the menu that appears, click on the “Change multi-factor authentication” option.
This action will remove your current multi-factor authentication setup.
It is useful if you’ve changed phones, lost access to your authentication app, or simply wish to reconfigure your method.

Confirmation of the reset

After clicking “Change multi-factor authentication”, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
This message informs you that the reset was successful.
From this point on, your previous authentication method will no longer be valid.

Choosing a new authentication method

During your next login to Prodon Web, a message will prompt you to choose a new authentication method.

You will be offered two options:

  • Via an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator)
  • Via email, where a code will be sent to your email address

Entering your credentials

Once you’ve chosen your method, you’ll need to enter your username and password as usual.
This step verifies your identity before activating the new authentication method.

Finalizing the login

After entering your credentials, you’ll need to use the selected authentication method:

  • If you chose the app, open it and enter the generated code.
  • If you chose email, check your inbox and enter the received code.

Once this step is completed, your login to Prodon Web will be validated and secure.
