# User Management

### DETAILED PROCEDURE

### View the user list
Select **Users** to display the list of users configured in the database.
This window allows you to view existing users and manage their accounts.

### Add a user
To create a new user, click **Add**.
Enter the user's full name and email address, as these fields are required.
Also select the appropriate **Group**, the **SUPERVISOR** account elevation level, and the accessible organization if you are using a multi-organization configuration.
Once the configuration is complete, click **Add** to save the user.

### Edit a user
To modify an existing user, locate the user in the list using the available columns, then select the user.
Make the required changes in the user record and click **Modify** to save the updates.

### Deactivate an account or reset a password
From a user’s record, you can deactivate access by clicking **Disabled**.
You can also force the user's password to expire so that it must be reset.
When a password expiration is forced, an email is sent to the user containing a password reset link that remains valid for one hour.

### Use search and filter options
The drop-down menu allows you to select groups, users, or a specific view.
You can also apply an existing filter to make it easier to find the users you are looking for.

### Use SUPERVISOR mode
To switch to **SUPERVISOR** mode, click your user profile and select **Switch to SUPERVISOR mode**.
This mode grants access to all available permissions when the user’s elevation level allows it.
To return to standard mode, click your user profile and select **Exit SUPERVISOR mode**.
