FAQ - Export to Excel

1. Can data be exported from any management grid?

Yes.
Exporting is available from all management grids in Prodon Web.

2. What is the difference between CSV and Excel (XLSX)?

• CSV: Simple format, no formatting, single worksheet.

• XLSX: Advanced Excel format with colors, formulas, charts, and support for multiple worksheets.

3. Is it possible to export only certain data?

Yes.
Specific rows can be selected in the grid before launching the export.

4. Where is the file located after export?

The file is downloaded directly through the web browser used.
For example, in Chrome, it can be accessed via the download icon.

5. Does the export start automatically?

Yes.
As soon as the format is selected, the export starts automatically without additional confirmation.

6. Can multiple worksheets be exported in CSV format?

No.
The CSV format supports only a single worksheet.
For multiple worksheets or advanced formatting, Excel (XLSX) must be used.
